Thanks to my freelance gigs and my regular job, I am glad to say that I am earning well beyond what young adults of my age normally do. On top of these perks, another nice thing about BPI Direct Save Up is its partnership with Philam Life, which provides you with a life insurance with a value of up to 10 times your account balance. That's a factor of 5 for the basic life insurance and another 5 if it is death by accident. Forced savings added to a free insurance program results to a program that is worth discussing here. The job of a freelancer is never stable. Income still varies depending on incoming and outgoing projects. Thus it is our responsibility to ensure that we have adequate coverage in terms of savings.
